Acidity – Acidity is the state of something being acid or having attributes of acid, Acidity can also be described as the amount of acid that is present in a solution. It often expressed in terms of PH.
Aerobic Decomposition – When organic materials decay in the presence of oxygen, the process is called “aerobic.” thus, In aerobic decomposition, living organisms that use oxygen, feed upon the organic matter. Living organisms use the nitrogen, phosphorus, carbon, and other required nutrients.
Aerate – This is the process of exposing to the action or effect of air, causing air to circulate through. Aerate is also a process of changing or treating with air or a gas.
Afghani Strain – Afghani Strain is a heavy strain named after its geographical origin, where early varieties of cannabis are believed to have grown.
Agriculture – Agriculture is the cultivation and breeding of plants, and animals for food, medicinal plants, fiber, and other products that are used in the sustenance and enhancement of human life.
Air layering – A method of growing or breeding new trees and shrubs from stems that are still attached to the parent plant. The stem is usually wrapped with damp moss, this is to encourage the formation of roots.
Alkalinity – The capability of water to neutralize an acid. Alkalinity is related to the pH of a solution. It roughly refers to an amount of bases in a solution that can be converted to uncharged species by a strong acid.
Anaerobic – This simply refers to living in the absence of free oxygen or Air.
Androecious – Name used to classify plants that posses only male flowers.
Bacteria – Tiny single-cell microorganisms that are usually a few micrometers in length, they normally exist together in millions.
Bactericide – Disinfectants, antiseptics, or antibiotics. bactericide or bacteriocide is a substance that kills bacteria.
Ballast – A transformer that is mostly used in fluorescent lighting, these transformers use thinner dimension copper winding wire.
Biodegradable – The capability of being decomposed by bacteria or other living organisms and thereby avoiding pollution.
Biodynamic – An Alternative form of agriculture that is very similar to organic farming, but it includes various esoteric concepts drawn from the ideas of Rudolf Steiner.
Blight – A disease that occurs in plants, diseases are typically caused by fungi such as mildews, rusts, and smuts.
Blotching – Term for any plant disease that is caused by fungi or bacteria and results in brown or black dead areas on leaves or fruit.
Bract – A specified or modified leaf with a flower cluster in its axil.
Calyx – The collective name given to the sepals of a flower or inflorescence.
Cannabinoid – A cannabinoid is one out of a class of different chemical compounds that acts on cannabinoid receptors in cells that alter neurotransmitter release in the brain.
Cellular Necrosis – Necrosis is caused by external factors to the cell or tissue, this could be factors like infection, toxins, or trauma which results in the unregulated digestion of cell components.
Cerebral – This is a name given to a part of the brain.
Chillum – This is a straight traditionally made conical pipe with an end-to-end channel.
Chlorophyll – Chlorophyll is the cause of the green color of many plants and algae. When seen through a microscope, chlorophyll is concentrated within organisms in structures called chloroplasts.
Chlorosis – Chlorosis is a condition whereby leaves produce insufficient chlorophyll.
Clone This refers to a duplicate of a sequence of DNA, as from a gene, that is produced by genetic engineering. The duplicate is then transplanted into the nucleus of a cell from which genetic material has been removed.
CO2 – CO2 is Carbon dioxide, a colorless gas with a density of about 50% higher than the density of dry air. Carbon dioxide consists of a carbon atom that is covalently double bonded to two oxygen atoms.
Cotyledon – A cotyledon is a significant part of the embryo within the seed of a plant, and can be described or defined as the primary leaf in the embryo of the higher plants.
Crop rotation – The process of growing a different crop in the same area after harvesting the old crop.
Decomposition – Decomposition is the act or process of something decaying.
Dioecious – Dioecious is a characteristic of a species, Meaning that it possesses male and female individual organisms.
Dissemination – This is the act of spreading something.
Evolution – Evolution is the gradual changes in an organism from generation to generation.
Fan Leaves – This is the biggest leaf of the cannabis plant. There can also be described as the primary leaves. Cannabis fan leaves are filled with resin, flavor, and other phytonutrients.
Fertilizer – This is any material of natural origin or synthetic origin that is applied to the soil for the provision of nutrients to the soil in order to aid or boost the growth of plants.
Foliage – A cluster or representation of leaves, flowers, and branches. Foliage can also easily be described or defined as the leafy parts of a tree or a plant.
Fungicide – Fungicide is a compound that is toxic to fungi.
Genotype – The genetic properties or constitution of an individual.
Phenotype – This is the set of characteristics of an individual due to the reaction of its genotype with the environment.
Germination – Germination is the process of an organism growing from a seed. Germination doesn’t occur speedily, it takes time for a seed to germinate.
Gland – This is an organ in the human or animal body that discharges a particular chemical substances for use in the body or for release into the surroundings.
Global warming – This is the change or gradual increase in temperature of earth‘s atmosphere.
Growth Stimulators – Hormones that increase the growth rate in living organism.
HID – High-intensity discharge.
Hummus – This is the organic component of soil. It formed by the decay of leaves and other plant material by soil microorganisms.
